Maybe one of the scariest things ever just happened to me. I had just got done hanging out with Neil, Joe, Sean, and Ryan and was dropping Neil off at his house on Wood Rd. in Willoughby. I took my time driving down Neil's street, because I was looking for a paticular CD i wanted to listen to on my (3 minute) drive home. I pulled out onto Lost Nation, and next thing I know, I just saw a car coming straight at me. The area is under heavy construction and the side had just opened up and apparently this guy though he was in the right lane. He wasn't though. I panicked at first.. I layed down on the horn and slammed on my brakes. At the last second he veered left into the cones on the side of the road. Causing some significant damage to his car. I stopped to see if he was ok, which he was. His car had front end damage, and a flat tire. He decided to drive away though, after apologizing to me.
The moment where I was just looking straight at his headlights scared the hell out of me. I'm still shaken by it. My entire life flashed before my eyes. I thought I was for sure about to die. Fortunately, I got lucky tonight. I always felt pretty safe on the road. That is until tonight.. now I'm not so sure. I just hope I never have to go through anything like that again.
